Saint George (Paroisse de Saint George) is a Parish of Grenada . It extends over the southwest corner of the island. The capital of Grenada, St. George’s is located in this Parish and with an area of ​​67 km² and a population of 37,000 inhabitants, the Parish is the second largest but most populous on the island. The settlement density is 547 inhabitants / km². The horseshoe-shaped harbor is framed by colorful shops and the red tiled roofs of the houses. The world famous Grand Anse Beach and many other holiday resorts are also located in Saint George .

The southwest tip of the island runs out into the Point Salines peninsula . The Parish is bordered by Saint John to the north, Saint Andrew to the northeast, and Saint David to the east . The coastline is very rugged and both the westernmost point of the country (Point Salines), and the southernmost point, Lance aux Epines ( German  barbed lance , ), are in the Parish, as well as the island's airport, Maurice Bishop International Airport . The infrastructure is better developed than on the rest of the island.
