Saintes (Belgium)

Saintes ( Dutch : Sint-Renelde , Walloon : Sinternele ) is a district of the Belgian municipality of Tubize (Tubeke) on the Flemish-Walloon language border southwest of Brussels .

The parish church

Saintes was an independent municipality until it was largely merged with Tubize in 1977 as part of a municipality reform. A smaller part, including Wisbecq (Wisbeke), was added to the newly formed Rebecq community .
