Sait was a volume and grain measure in Rangoon .

  • 1 string = 59 3/5 liters
  • 1 Sait = 2 Sarots = 4 Pyis = 16 Sales = 32 Lames = 64 Lamyets
  • 4 strings = 1 ten

The ten was the basket and with peeled rice it was 16 bis / viss or 26.49 kilograms , i.e. between 56 and 58 pounds (English).
