The Sakrauer Spitze (or Sakrauer Berg or Sprentschützer Berg ) is a mountain in Upper Silesia near Sakrau and Dombrowka in the municipality of Gogolin . The Sakrauer Berg is the highest point in the municipality with 256 m npm .
There is a five meter high stone obelisk on the mountain. The Sakrauer Berg used to offer a good view of the surroundings. However, since the mountain has been overgrown and forested for a few years, you only have a limited view.
During the Second World War, there was an observation tower on the mountain, of which the foundation is still preserved today.
flora
Occurrences of the lime-loving hill violet ( Viola collina ) have been detected on the Sakrauer Spitze, which is located in an area rich in limestone . The hill violet was first observed on the Sakrauer Berg in 1857.
