Salvador Santana (* 1983 in San Francisco ) is an American musician and singer, son of the famous guitarist Carlos Santana and his former wife Deborah.

Salvador Santana, who is currently studying at an art school in San Francisco, wanted to play the guitar as a boy and has experimented with it; soon he changed his focus to piano and keyboard and has stuck with it to this day. At school he got to know some musicians who influenced his further development and with whom he then founded a band that was soon named the Salvador Santana Band . The musicians included Emerson Cardenas ( bass ), Carla Holbrook ( vocals ), Matt Heulitt ( guitar ), Tony Austin ( drums ) and José Espinoza ( saxophone ). Stylistically, it is reminiscent of his father's Latin rock, but strong elements of rap and hip-hop cannot be ignored.

In addition to these influences, there is also a strong tendency towards jazz. On his first demo CD, which can only be ordered online from his website, there are some compositions by the well-known drummer Billy Cobham.

The band achieved success in April and May 2006 when they accompanied Carlos Santana on his European tour and appeared as the opening band at all 24 concerts.

In August 2015 his first album was released under the name Fantasy Reality .
