Salvatore Caronna
Salvatore Caronna (born March 5, 1964 in Bad Säckingen ) is an Italian politician of the Partito Democratico . Before the merger he belonged to the Democratici di Sinistra .
Caronna graduated from a trade school and then attended some courses at universities. He worked as secretary of the Communist Youth Association of Italy in the Bologna section, later as chairman of the ARCI in Bologna and at national level and as party secretary of the Democratici di Sinistra in Bologna and the Partito Democratico in the Emilia-Romagna region. From 1999 to 2004 he was a member of the Provincial Council of Bologna , from 2004 to 2007 the City Council of Bologna, since 2005 he has been a member of the Council of the Emilia-Romagna Region . He has been a member of the European Parliament since 2009 .
