Salwa Abu Libdeh

Salwa Abu Libdeh ( Arabic سلوى أبو لبدة; * 1966 in Jerusalem ) is a television journalist from Palestine who lives in the Shu'fat refugee camp in the city of Jerusalem.

She studied Arabic literature and worked as a newspaper journalist before becoming a news anchor with the Palestinian Broadcasting Corporation . She worked on a Palestinian-Israeli-German project showing a documentary film about the life of both sides of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

In 2013 she was one of the BBC's 100 Women .
