Salzburgarena

The Salzburgarena in the Austrian capital Salzburg is a multifunctional hall and is located in the Liefering district . As a venue for concerts and sporting events, it offers space for up to 4,900 people, depending on the seating and grandstand configuration. The hall with the largest self-supporting wooden roof structure in Austria is located on the grounds of the Salzburg Exhibition Center and is therefore also used for trade fair events.

traffic

The Salzburgarena can be reached with the trolleybus line 1 from the main train station and the city center. The line runs every 10 minutes on weekdays and, during events, is routed via a specially constructed overhead line loop to directly in front of the main entrance of the arena. At the event times, the interval is compressed accordingly and the respective admission ticket is considered a travel ticket.
