history

In 1980, Samson Technologies began manufacturing wireless audio microphones in conjunction with complex audio systems. At the time there were two employees working for the company. By 1990 the company had become the market leader in wireless music accessories and microphone systems. Sun also used Eric Clapton some products of the company for its system Soldano / Cornish Guitar routing . Shortly thereafter, Samson Technologies introduced other products such as power amplifiers , mixers , signal processors and conventional cable microphones. In 2005, the company manufactured the first professional USB microphone for musicians, presenters, and everyday use. The conception of the model is now the worldwide standard. In addition to Eric Clapton, other “Samson Artists” are Steve Vai , Richie Kotzen , Herman Li and Larry Mitchell .

Hartke

In 1985 the company founded the bass amplifier manufacturer Hartke. The reason for the creation of a new line of bass amplifiers, bass boxes and bass combos was - according to the company - the newly developed aluminum technology for loudspeakers, which above all made bass tones sound richer and clearer. Hartke players are or were, for example, Billy Sheehan , Stu Hamm , Victor Wooten and Jack Bruce .
