Samsung Gear VR is a virtual reality headset that is produced by Samsung in cooperation with Oculus VR . It was presented on September 3, 2014 and went on sale on November 27, 2015. The device can only in combination with a Samsung Galaxy - Smartphone be used. The graphics output is taken over by the smartphone, while the device provides buttons, sensor data and the optical elements.
