Samsung Pay is a mobile payment service from Samsung Electronics . Credit and debit cards as well as customer cards can be registered via your own application and used at all points of sale where contactless payment is possible. Samsung Pay was officially launched in South Korea on August 20, 2015 .

Availability

Worldwide availability of Samsung Pay.

In theory, Samsung Pay is accepted worldwide wherever contactless payment or magnetic stripe payment is possible with one of the stored cards, although magnetic stripe payment does not work with hybrid terminals because they expect an inserted card. The availability is limited by the supported credit cards issued by the credit card issuers in the respective countries.
