Samuel bar Nachman
Rab Samuel bar Nachman (also: bar Nachmani or ben Nachmani ; * in the 3rd century in Palestine ; † in the 4th century) was a third generation Amora in Palestine.
He was a student of Jonathan ben Eleazar . As a highly respected Haggadist he worked in Tiberias , he lived twice for longer periods in Babylonia .
His main student and tradent was Chelbo .
