San Antonio is a city in Uruguay .

geography

San Antonio is located in the department of Canelones in sector 15 . The city is located east-southeast of Paso de la Cadena , northwest of Santa Rosa and northeast of the departmental capital Canelones . The Arroyo Canelón Grande runs south of San Antonio, and its small right-hand tributary Moreira flows through the northern area of ​​the village.

history

On November 14, 1875, San Antonio was classified by law in the " Pueblo " category.

Infrastructure

The Plaza de San Antonio is centrally located in the place that houses two schools and a church. The cemetery is located on the south-eastern edge of San Antonio.
