San Francisco (Acatepec)
The San Francisco Catholic Church in Acatepec , a city in the state of Puebla in Mexico , was built in the mid-18th century. The church is one of the most important Indian-influenced baroque buildings in Latin America. It is a protected cultural monument .
The facade is clad with azulejos and red bricks. The interior, which was faithfully restored after a fire in 1939, is richly decorated with plaster stucco .
