The parish was founded on August 30, 1956 with the decree Neminem fugit by Cardinal Vicar Clemente Micara and in 1958 entrusted to the Institute of Consecrated Life of the Vocationists (Italian: Società delle divine vocazioni , abbreviated to “SDV” or “vocazionisti”). On June 28, 1988, the elevation to the title church of the Roman Catholic Church by Pope John Paul II followed.
Inside the church there is a portrait of Giustino Russolillo , the founder of the “Vocazionisti”, as well as a Salve Regina Madonna. Both works are by the artist Vera Puoti .
The church is located at Viale Cortina d'Ampezzo 144 in the Roman district of Della Vittoria .
