San José de Barlovento is a Venezuelan village, the administrative seat of the Andrés Bello district, in the state of Miranda .

San José de Barlovento was founded in 1846 by three Spaniards (José Imas and brother Románn, as well as by his uncle, Pedro Oderiz).
