Notary specialist
The notary specialist is a job title for particularly qualified employees in notary offices , analogous to the legal specialist . In the notarial sector, there is still no nationwide training and examination regulation. The chambers of notaries of the legal notary's office have introduced corresponding examination regulations through the legal specialist. The Academy for Notary Specialists from Recklinghausen offers a course of study to prepare for the examination to become a notary specialist by the Westphalian Chamber of Notaries. In addition to lawyers and notaries' clerks, long-term notarial employees can also take part in this training. The course consists exclusively of face-to-face study (Saturdays) and is part-time. Two courses of study are offered annually at different locations in Westphalia / Lippe.
In this subject area, the RENO German Association of Legal and Notary Employees offers the notary specialist course with a chamber degree in Berlin. The "Notarfachwirt" distance learning course has been offered since 2006 in cooperation with the Beuth University of Applied Sciences in Berlin . In three semesters, it prepares for the exam carried out by the Berlin Chamber of Notaries. The participants work on distance learning material ("course units") with submission tasks and take part in face-to-face events. Graduation is "Certified notary specialist" by the Berlin Chamber of Notaries; Certificate of study from Beuth University Berlin. Examination for notary specialist in accordance with the examination regulations of the chambers of notaries, in particular the Berlin Chamber of Notaries. The distance learning course prepares for the notary specialist examination and imparts the knowledge, skills, experience and aptitude required for this through professional training.
Entry requirements: Legal assistant and notary assistant , notary assistant with relevant professional experience.
Lecturers are practitioners, i.e. lawyers and notaries, judges , legal clerks and legal specialists.
Course content
The focus of the degree is on office organization and administration, human resources and client care , real estate and land register law , family and inheritance law along with the basic principles of international private law and the law of voluntary jurisdiction , commercial and company law including register law, cost and fee law, notarization law and professional law the notaries.
Certified legal and notary specialist
To test the Bar Association Hamm is to allow anyone who:
- the final exam in the trades lawyer's and notary's assistant / r has passed with success and then at least two years in a lawyer's and notary's office or after the aforementioned test at least two years
- has carried out a comparable activity
or at least six years of professional experience.
