Sana Bob , actually Sana Salif is a Burkinabe reggae - singer .

life and career

Sana Bob comes from northern Burkina Faso. Due to the bad economic situation, he spent 27 years in Ivory Coast , where his first two albums were released. After major unrest there, Sana Bob returned to Burkina Faso. His third album Dernière Chance was his biggest success to date. In the years after 2006, however, it was considered controversial because of its increasing commitment to peace. In 2011 and 2012 he was voted Burkinabe Musician of the Year. In 2013 he toured Belgium. His fifth album was released in 2014 in Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso and Belgium. Sana Bob, who did not receive any schooling himself, works with Action Scolarité to improve the education system in the Burkinabe villages.
