Sanabares (Indo-Parthian)
Sanabares (also Sanabares I ) was an Indo-Parthian king who ruled around 80 AD.
Sanabares is known only from a few coins that were minted in Seistan and Kandahar . On the back they have legends in Pahlavi , but also in Greek. There is another Parthian ruler with this name who had coins minted in Merv ( Sanabares II ). At the moment it is not entirely certain whether it is one or two people with identical names.
