The Mambatutafalls are a high rapids of the Luapula River in the Luapula Province on the border between the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Zambia .

Before the Mambatuta Falls, the Luapula is a swamp several hundred meters wide, then narrows its bed, falls over a long rock slope to the valley, where it meanders to the west , enclosed between mountains , then very soon flows almost straight to the north. The falls are very difficult to access. The Milenge district is almost undeveloped by any kind of civilization. There are neither photos nor travelogues.
