Bernardino Bilbao (also: General Bernardino Bilbao ) is a province in the Potosí department in the highlands of the South American Andean state of Bolivia . It is named after the general and politician Bernardino Bilbao Rioja .

The province of Bernardino Bilbao is one of sixteen provinces in the Department of Potosí. It borders in the north on the department of Cochabamba , in the southwest on the province of Alonso de Ibáñez , in the south on the province of Charcas .
