The Municipio Acasio is a district in the Department of Potosí in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The municipality Acasio is one of two municipalities in the province of Bernardino Bilbao and borders in the northwest with the municipality Arampampa , in the northeast with the department Cochabamba , in the south with the province Charcas . Its extension from west to east is 35 kilometers, from north to south 50 kilometers.
The municipality comprises 67 localities ( localidades ), the central place of the municipality is the town of Acasio with 855 inhabitants ( 2012 census ) in the central western part of the district.

The Municipio Acasio is located in the Bolivian Cordillera Central in the transition area to the Bolivian lowlands.
