The dry season is the periodic precipitates, poor or precipitation of free time in the course of tropical alternating humid and subtropical areas. During the dry season, the vegetation and animals in general only have limited opportunities to live.

In pronounced dry seasons, both flowing waters and still waters can dry up . It formed dry valleys ( wadis ).

In the dry forest, the deciduous trees shed their leaves during this time of year and there are more forest fires , as in 2019 with the forest fires in Bolivia .
