Sandaré is a municipality in Mali , in the Nioro du Sahel area and the Kayes region .

In the 2009 local elections in Mali, Monzo Ali Coulibaly (Parena) was elected Mayor of Sandaré. The election result was controversial and was eventually canceled. As a result, at a meeting of the Council of Ministers, the government decided to entrust a special commission under the leadership of Bacari (called Samba Touré), the sub-prefect of the rural community of Sandaré, with the municipal administration.
