Former half-timbered courtyard

The Sandbauernhof is a former Fachwerkhof conditioning, Am Markt 10, in the district of Song Mountain in Korschenbroich in Rhein-Kreis Neuss in North Rhine-Westphalia . Today the building is owned by the city of Korschenbroich and is used for exhibitions, concerts and other cultural events.

It was built in the 18th century and entered into the list of architectural monuments in Korschenbroich on June 4, 1987 under No. 119 .

architecture

The monument is a former half-timbered yard from the 18th century, the so-called "sand farm", which was restored from 1977 to 1980 or converted into a meeting place. The half-timbered structure of the two-and-a-half-story gable-side main building is plastered today, and the building has been heavily modified by the renovation work. The house "Am Markt 10" is part of the listed ensemble of the old historical market. Liedberg and in particular the old market that still exists have local significance for the history of Korschenbroich.
