Sangphu Ne'uthog Monastery is a monastery belonging to the Kadam School, the first Sarma tradition of Tibetan Buddhism .
It is located south of Lhasa in Tölung Dechen County . The monastery was founded in 1073 by Ngog Legpe Sherab ( rngog legs pa'i shes rab ), a disciple of Atisha . It housed one of the oldest monastery schools in Tibet.
