Sanjō no kata
Sanjō no kata ( Japanese 三条 の 方 ; * 1521 ; † August 29, 1570 ) is the emergency name of the second wife ( 継 室 , keishitsu ) Takeda Shingens and lived in the Japanese Kōfu in the 16th century . Her bones rest not far from her favorite place, the Enkoin Temple , and near her husband's grave.
She was the daughter of Sanjō Kin'yori from the house of the old noble family ( Kuge ) of the Sanjō . In this respect, she was more of a person with a great interest in culture than was the case with the daimyo , feudal warlords like Takeda Shingen. However, Takeda Shingen granted her her own temple, and she quickly established an influential society and a network of important decision-makers in Kofu. She is said to have had a very strong connection to Shingen and increased his interest in art, Buddhism and Chinese scriptures.
