Santa Agnes de Corona (span. Santa Inés) is a place in the municipality ( municipality ) Sant Antoni de Portmany on the Spanish Balearic island of Ibiza . In 2011, 431 people lived in the village, which is 10 km from Sant Antoni de Portmany on the Plà des Corona plain. Santa Agnès is developed for tourists by a mini-Tren called trackless train that runs from Sant Antoni. The area around Santa Agnès is known for its wealth of almond trees.
Near the village, in a nature reserve on a hilltop, was the 3150 square meter property, according to the daily El País, a mixture of monastery and castle, the Romanian musician and music producer Michael Cretu and his wife Sandra . After years of dispute, the property was completely demolished in May 2009.
