Santa Maria is an island in the Isole dello Stagnone di Marsala archipelago , which lies off the west coast of Sicily and is part of the urban area of Marsala .
Santa Maria is the northernmost of the three islands within the lagoon. It has an elongated shape and extends roughly parallel to the coasts of Isola Grande and Sicily. The island is not inhabited. It is three meters high.
