Santiago Saúl , full name Santiago Saúl Litwin , (born January 8, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

According to his club, Santiago Saúl, who is 1.78 meters tall, is the son of Nacional functionary Alex Saúl. The striker has already completed a trial at Manchester City . In the end, however, there was no obligation. He came in July 2012 on loan to Nacional Montevideo to Juventud . In Apertura and Clausura 2012/13 he played four games there in the Primera División . After the 2012/13 season, he initially returned to Nacional. There he ran for the U-23 of the Bolsos , who were competing in the Tercera División, but did not appear in the first team. In July 2015 he moved to Club Atlético Cerro . In the Apertura 2015 he was used seven times (no goal). In January 2016 he joined the league competitor Sud América and ran five times (no goal) in the Clausura. At the beginning of July 2016, he moved to Israel to join Hapoel Ironi Kirjat Schmona .

At the Maccabiade 2017, Saúl was part of the Uruguayan team.
