Saoirse-Monica Jackson
Saoirse-Monica Jackson (born November 24, 1993 in Derry , Northern Ireland ) is a Northern Irish actress . She gained fame with her role as Erin Quinn in the youth series Derry Girls .
Life
Jackson grew up in both her native Derry and Donegal , Republic of Ireland. She attended the Arden School of Theater in Manchester , where she studied acting .
Her first role on television was a four-episode guest role as Sasha in the UK crime series The Five (2016). In 2018 she took on her first leading role in Derry Girls .
