The Sarcoma botryoides ( synonym Traubensarkom ) is a rare, extremely malignant tumor, which especially in the urinary tract, as well as the vagina , the cervix occurs, biliary tract, sinuses and nasopharynx. In the urinary tract it occurs as embryonic rhabdomyosarcoma . In the genital area, it is a mixed tumor of the pluripotent epithelium, which can easily be mistaken for benign cervical polyps due to its grape-shaped growth and usually manifests itself as vaginal bleeding. It may contain striated muscle fibers. The highest incidence is found in children under six years of age. In addition to a strong tendency to grow, the very high tendency to relapse is characteristic. In addition to the operation, treatment includes combined radio-polychemotherapy. Because of the very rapid growth, the prognosis is extremely poor.
