Saroléa 38H

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Saroléa 38H was a motorcycle from the Belgian manufacturer Saroléa , which was mainly built for military sidecar use from 1938 to 1940 .

Little is known about the technology behind the Saroléa 38H, which was only built in small numbers and is now very rare. The side-controlled two - cylinder boxer engine had a capacity of 973 cc and developed 20  hp . The drive - also on the sidecar wheel - took place via a three-speed gearbox with manual shift and reverse gear as well as a reduction gear for off-road driving. As with the FN M12, which is identical in some parts, the front wheel was guided in a trapezoidal fork .
