Sassenfeld is part of the village of Lobberich (city of Nettetal ) on the left Lower Rhine. It only has a few hundred inhabitants. The Sassenfeld School is one of the nine primary schools in Nettetal.

Nature reserve

The nature reserve in Sassenfeld is popular with tourists . Some animals are exhibited and described there. You can get general information about nature there . There is also a small café where you can take a break.
