Roast Satan (swear word)

As Satansbraten , partly as a hellion , is in the vernacular figuratively refers to a person who in defiance of morality other people significant damage inflicted to draw material from it advantages or to enjoy it.

The word goes back to the Christian idea, which was widespread especially in the Middle Ages , according to which Satan finally brings people with morally reprehensible attitudes and deeds to him in order to roast them in hell (according to popular belief at the time in his devil's kitchen ). Today, the term is used more to mean sly fellow, rascal .
