Satoshi Kamiya

Satoshi Kamiya ( Japanese 神 谷 哲 史 , Kamiya Satoshi ; born June 6, 1981 in Nagoya , Japan ) is a Japanese origami master. He learned the art of origami from the age of two. His best-known works include the Shinryū Bahamut ( 神 竜 バ ハ ム ー ト , Shinryū Bahamūto , 1997) based on the game Bahamut Lagoon and the Ancient Dragon ( エ ン シ ェ ン ト ド ラ ゴ ン , Enshento Doragon , 2002), which, like many of his characters, come from computer games and manga .

Most of Kamiya's works are very complex, so both dragons need about 250 steps to complete and are folded from squares (foil or thin paper) with an edge length of 0.5 m.
