Satrox was a hard rock band from Switzerland that celebrated national successes in Switzerland in the early 1990s.

Band history

They released two albums that went high in the charts. The album "Heaven Sent" reached number 9 in the charts and the single "(Love Is) More Than A Feeling" climbed to number 12. On their 1992 tour Gotthard played in the opening act for Satrox. Although Satrox were signed to a major label in their home country , they could never really gain a foothold outside of Switzerland. The band split up after the second album. Singer Werner Schweizer and drummer Danni Zimmermann are now active in the Swiss-Liechtenstein rock band Lovechild . Schweizer sings at the same time in the metal band Kharma , in which keyboardist Dany Schärz also plays. Peter "Mur" Mauerhofer, the musical head of Satrox, now plays in the band "Oneway", in which Jonny Stutz (formerly with the also very successful band "Allison") also plays.
