Saul David

Saul David (* 1966 in Monmouth , Wales ) is a British military historian and radio journalist and author of historical novels. In Great Britain he is known to a larger audience through frequent appearances on television and radio programs, where he predominantly covers topics from the military and imperial history of Great Britain as a presenter or expert.

Life

Saul David grew up in Herefordshire and Monmouthshire and did his A-Levels at Ampleforth College . He received his Masters in History from the University of Edinburgh and his PhD from the University of Glasgow . From 2007 to 2008 he taught military history at the University of Hull . In 2009 he was appointed to the University of Buckingham , where he holds a chair in war history.
