Saulius Arlauskas

Saulius Arlauskas (born January 17, 1952 in Klaipėda ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, legal philosopher and professor at the Mykolas-Romer University .

biography

In 1970, after graduating from the 12th Middle School in Klaipėda, Saulius Arlauskas completed a physics degree at the University of Vilnius in 1975 and from 1981 had a teaching position. From December 1982 to December 1985 he studied as an aspirant and received his doctorate in 1986 at the same university on the philosophy of Johann Gottlieb Fichte . From 1991 he worked as a lecturer at the Philosophy Department of the Lithuanian Police Academy (Lietuvos policijos akademija) (then at the Lietuvos teisės akademija , Lietuvos teisės universitetas, MRU). He has been a professor since June 2008 and a member of the Senate of the Kazimieras Simonavičius University since 2012 .

Saulius Arlauskas is married; with his wife Violeta he has two daughters named Ugnė (* 1977) and Agilė (* 1984).

Arlauskas is a member of the Frontas socialist party .
