Saulius Varnas
Saulius Varnas (born August 23, 1948 in Panevėžys ) is a Lithuanian actor and director .
Life
In 1970 he studied acting at the Juozas Miltinis Drama Theater and in 1973 a diploma course at the Faculty of Industrial and Civil Engineering at the Technical University of Kaunas and in 1978 he studied drama at the State Institute for Theater, Music and Cinematography in Leningrad. In 1976 he completed the foreign language courses in Leningrad and became a German translator.
From 1970 to 1973 he was an actor in Panevėžys and from 1978 to 1980 director and 1980–1989 chief director at the Šiauliai Theater . He directed 19 plays. From 1989 he worked in Panevėžys. From 1990 to 1992 he was Deputy Mayor of Panevėžys.
