IC10

The IC10 is a superordinate complementary route ( itinerário complementar ) in Portugal .

It currently runs from Santarém 10.8 kilometers east to Almeirim , where it joins the A13 motorway . She crosses the Tejo on the Ponte Salgueiro Maia . This section was opened to traffic in June 2000.

Two further expansion stages are planned: the first stage provides for an extension between Almeirim and Coruche , the second the extension to Montemor-o-Novo , where a connection to the A6 motorway is to be established.
