Savaia is a settlement in the political district (itūmālō) Aʻana of the island state of Samoa on the island of Upolu .
geography
It is located on the south coast of the island between the settlements of Tafagamanu and Gagaifo o le Vao . The settlement extends from the coast to the island's main road about 1.5 km to the north. There is a Giant Clam Sanctuary and CCCS Savaia Tai Church .
