Savilian Chair of Astronomy
The Savilian Professor of Astronomy ( English , roughly: Savilischer chair of astronomy ) is a highly respected Institute for Astronomy at Oxford University . It was founded in 1619 parallel to the Savilian Chair of Geometry by Henry Savile and is named after him.
