Savin Yeatman-Eiffel

Savin Yeatman-Eiffel (born May 30, 1970 in Paris ) is a French director. He is the inventor, writer, producer and co-director of the anime series Ōban Star-Racers .

Savin Yeatman-Eiffel studied film craft in London and at the renowned FEMIS film school in Paris and was then involved in many short film productions as a director, producer, cameraman and sound engineer. In 1995 he started writing animated film scripts (including the 39-part series “The Magician” by Studio Gaumont / Xilam) and has remained loyal to animation projects ever since.

In 1998 Yeatman-Eiffel founded his own studio “Sav! The World Productions ”, where he produced the 2001“ Oban Star-Racers ”pilot film“ Molly, Star Racer ”. This award-winning short film became an insider tip among fans due to its distribution on the Internet. But it wasn't until 2006 that the associated series “Oban Star-Racers” was completed with the help of international support (including JETIX Europe, France3, SuperRTL and Bandai Visual) and in collaboration with the Japanese studio “HAL Film Maker”.
