Saxion (Deventer, 2012)

The Saxion also Saxion University of Applied Sciences called, is a Dutch university with three campuses in the eastern Netherlands, Enschede , Deventer and Apeldoorn . It was created in 1998 from the merger of the universities of applied sciences (Hogeschool) in Enschede and IJselland . In 2016 it had around 27,000 students, including 3,500 foreigners, which is supported by international programs in English. The focus is on applied subjects, for example various business degrees, electronics, electrical engineering, civil engineering, computer science including game development, fashion and textile industry, applied nanotechnology and physiotherapy.
