Saxonia Edelmetalle is a company founded in 1993 for the production and recycling of precious metals .

The company is based in Halsbrücke and is a former subsidiary of DNick Holding .

The company's history goes back to the beginning of the 17th century, when precious metals were first processed here in 1612. Around 350 people are currently employed at two German locations (Halsbrücke and Pforzheim ).

Wieland Edelmetalle from Pforzheim has been part of the Saxonia Group since 2010 and Umicore sold its Technical Materials division to Saxonia in 2017 . In June 2020, the Pforzheim-based company Doduco was taken over.
