Say Lou Lou is a Swedish - Australian dream pop duo, consisting of twin sisters Elektra and Miranda Kilbey (born June 7, 1991 in Sydney ).
The sisters are daughters of The Church -Frontmann Steve Kilbey , spent the first years of their childhood in Australia and have lived in Sweden ever since. In 2012 they released their debut single Maybe You including a video clip and put it on SoundCloud . Shortly afterwards they received a recording contract with the French label Kitsuné , which released the title including four remixes. The name of the group was initially Saint Lou Lou and had to be changed due to a trademark dispute. At the beginning of 2013 the group and their live band were on the European tour of the band Hurts . Say Lou Lou were among the nominated artists for the newcomer barometer BBC Sound of 2014 of the British broadcaster BBC . On February 23, 2015 the debut album Lucid Dreaming was released , which reached number 49 in the Swedish music charts.
