The Sayaji Garden (also Sayaji Baug or Kamati Baug ) is the largest public park in western India with around 46 hectares . It is located in Vadodara , Gujarat state .

The Sayaji Garden is named after the Maharajah Sayaji Roa Gaekwad III , who had it laid out in 1879 and dedicated it to the people of Baroda . The park houses a zoo , the Baroda Museum and Picture Gallery , a planetarium, and an amusement park . In the center of the park there is a bandstand, which is surrounded by several statues , some of which are inspired by Greco-Roman mythology . Through the park runs a miniature railway .
