The Scalpel Point ( English , Polish Przylądek Skalpel , Cape Scalpel ' ) is a small, rocky headland on the south coast of King George Island in the South Shetland Islands . It is west of Pond Hill on the banks of Goulden Cove .
Polish scientists named them in 1980 in honor of the surgeons working on the Arctowski ward .
