Scarred (dt. Scarred ) is an American television show that for the first time in 2007 MTV aired. The moderator is Jacoby Shaddix , the singer of the band Papa Roach . In Germany, the show was broadcast on the pay-TV channel MTV Entertainment .

The series deals with real cases of people who suffered accidents and were sometimes seriously injured while performing various stunts, mostly on skateboards , snowboards or a BMX bike . The title of the series refers to the scars (Engl. Scars ) that often remain after these accidents. In addition to material from the accidents themselves, interviews with those affected and their relatives are shown. The website TV.com describes the series as " almost too painful to watch " (German about " almost too painful to watch ").
Episodes
The series consists of two seasons of ten episodes each. Several individual cases are dealt with in each episode. In addition to the normal episodes, a special called Scarred Live was filmed, in which professional athletes re-enact some of the stunts from the series. This special is timed between the two regular seasons.
